50 scientists from academia and industry met at the ICS to learn about conducting polymers for thermoelectricity. The scientific session then provided an opportunity to discuss fundamental and applied issues relating to thermoelectricity in the broadest sense: forming processes, physico-chemical characterisation and large-scale instrumentation, metrology, modelling and engineering of thermoelectric devices. The challenges of hybridisation between photovoltaics and thermoelectricity were also discussed.
Thank you to the speakers at the training sessions (Nicolas Leclerc from ICPEES, Martin Brinkmann from ICS and Evelyne Martin and Patrick Lévêque from ICube) and to all the participants!
